TURTLE IN THE TANK
An Afternoon of Film and Music in the Spirit of April 1968, the roar before . . . Sunday, April 27 from 1-6PM

Michael H Shamberg presents TURTLE an anarchic salon

TURTLE is an open and chaotic network of diverse but interconnecting ideas, people, projects, events, and venues. Following an imposed period of inactivity and relative isolation, Michael H Shamberg reconnects with an international coterie of artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, musicians, dancers, architects... people, inviting proposals for readings, rantings, artworks, texts, performances and screenings. - Donald Smith CHELSEA SPACE, London 2006.

TURTLE IN THE TANK brings the anarchic spirit of 1968 to Tribeca, where films by Chris Marker, Pierre Clémenti, Robert Frank, Jem Cohen, Jowan Le Besco, Marie Losier, Michael H Shamberg and many others will be projected with live music from New York artists Jeffrey Lewis and Christina Courtin.
